Manitoba Business Entrepreneur Stream

Move to Manitoba, Canada, through the Business Entrepreneur Stream.

The Manitoba Rural Entrepreneur Program encourages entrepreneurs to invest in smaller towns and rural communities across Manitoba. The program focuses on business development, local employment creation, and stimulating economic growth. Entrepreneurs selected through this stream gain the opportunity to live, work, and contribute to Manitoba’s vibrant rural communities while progressing toward permanent residency.

How It Works?

The Rural Entrepreneur process involves the following steps:

Step 1: Submit Expression of Interest (EOI)

Assess your eligibility and submit an online Expression of Interest outlining your business experience, net worth, language ability, and proposed business plan for Manitoba.

Step 2: Receive Invitation to Apply (ITA)

If your profile is selected, Manitoba issues an Invitation to Apply. You then submit a complete application along with detailed business and financial documents.

Step 3: Start & Operate Your Business in Manitoba

After approval, you receive a Letter of Support to apply for a temporary work permit. You move to Manitoba, establish or purchase the business, and actively manage operations as per your business plan.

Step 4: Get Provincial Nomination & Apply for PR

Once business performance requirements are met, Manitoba nominates you. You can then apply for Canadian Permanent Residency through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
